Does Trillium Woods Campground have a boat launch for Spry Lake?

No, we do not have a boat launch. We encourage only small fishing boats that can be launch by hand or non motorized boats to use on Spry Lake. It is a small, very shallow lake. Most of the lake is around 10 – 15 ft deep, the deepest part being around 20 ft. It has a silt bottom with plant material growing off the bottom, therefore not recommended for jet boats. If you have a small boat you would like to use during your stay, please contact the office for more information.

How may I reserve a spot at your Campground?

There are two options for reserving a spot at the Campground.

What is the layout of your Campground?

Trillium Woods has an abundance of trees throughout the campground which provides both shade and privacy.

What payment forms do you accept?

We accept Cash, Debit (Interac), Visa, MasterCard.

What is the difference between a cabin and a bunkie?

Cabins are larger than Bunkies and include a double bed.

How far are you from Sauble Beach or Wiarton?

Trillium Woods Campground is 13 km west of Wiarton and 13 km north of Sauble Beach, near the hamlet of Oliphant.

What hiking trails are near your Campground?

The Bruce Trail is 13 km away while Rural Rootz is only 11km away. Local trails are also available a short distance away (3km) in Oliphant.

What time is check out time?

Check out from the Campground is at 12 pm (noon).

Where is the Campground located?

Trillium Woods Campground is located 1 km north of the intersection of County Rd 13 and Bryant St. at Oliphant.

What is the fishing like on Spry Lake?

Pike, Perch, Small and Large Mouth Bass are all found in Spry Lake.

How close are you to Lake Huron?

Traveling 3 km west of the Campground will find you at Lake Huron.

What is the length of trailers for overnight camping?

Our Campground will only accomodate trailers to a maximum of 40 ft. We do not have pull-thru campsites.

Do you have group camping?

Trillium Woods Campground cannot accommodate group reservations. Being a smaller campground, our facilities cannot accommodate large groups. Please call the office if you require further information.
